I'm only just in work. I left my flat at 7:30am and normally am in just after 8.

But today it took over 2 and a half hours! I think thats the longest its ever taken me to get into work. The reason - there was snow - not much, maybe 6" or so. But it brought the Edinburgh Bypass to a complete standstill, and the road that runs parallel (which is the one I normally take).

So 2 hours of stop-start thru snow - which was not fun! Although I think my car coped better than the Merc that was in front - it fishtailed constantly! And the fun bit of being stop on a hill with my handbrake on, and my car starts to roll forward (although that might be the handbrake that is at fault.... Still not fun)

Thank god for tea in the office!
