Hey guys,

I had somebody take out an account o2 account in my name. Once I spotted the rogue direct debit, I called them, hoping to find it was an error. But apparently it was tied to a black iPhone 8GB, which was delivered to my home address and signed for by somebody named "Smith".

Strangely, the new account, used the same password to my legit o2 account. Nobody would know the password, other than the o2 call center staff who ask me for it, everytime I call.

Anyhow, I was told that a fraud investigation had been launched and that I'd be contacted within a couple of days. Weeks passed and I heard nothing. I called them back, to be told there was no record of an investigation.

Anyway this series of events repeated themselves 3 times, until finally I was passed on to a manager who said he'll take care of it personally. But once again I heard nothing, until a debt collection letter was posted through the door, demanding £500.

Once again, they claimed there was no investigation, only a couple of notes on my account. After much debate, I got passed to the fraud dept direct, who assured me they'd investigate it and get back to me within a few days. After a week, I received a second letter from the debt collection, this time much more threatening.

I rang o2 for an update, to be told there is nothing but a note on the account, stating it doesn't look like fraud, but a "mistake". Why the fuck didn't they even bother to ring me back, to update me?

It wasn't a mistake, as they'd clearly told me previously, that the phone was delivered to my bloody home address.

Now they're making me wait 24 hours, while they decide what to do about the outstanding balance? REALLY?! Incompetent little bastards. I'm furious.

This has gone on now for 6 months, endless hours on the phone, tons of emails and they finally conclude it was a mistake. Idiots.

Anyway, I don't want to settle for a "mistake". They refused to let me talk to the fraud dept again, as the matter had been solved. Bullshit has it. What can I do from here?

I've emailed all the top executives and I'm planning some posts for my mobile sites and Youtube channel, which has a massive audience, but I'm not sure that will even get them to take notice.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks :)
