People don't believe me that I am shy face-2-face, despite being a right cheeky monkey on some Forums. Orginally from the West Country, but transplanted to Reading in early 90s. Joined OUT for both Gay Male & Female friends, to break the feelings of isolation after the breakup of a long term relationship.

An ad announcing Kresta Spencer and Carrie Taylor from Salt Lake City's upcoming union ran in the The Herald-Journal. The paper received many letters, calls and emails complaining about the announcement because it appeared in the wedding section and gay weddings are not legal in the state of Utah - even though the ad did not use the words 'marriage' or 'commitment ceremony.' "It's a shame these people are uneducated and narrow-minded," one of the couple said. A letter to the editor denouncing the ad drew about 160 comments - both for and against -on the paper's website. … The paper released a statement on Friday, saying editors followed a policy on gay-wedding announcements, which had been decided in 2006 in case the situation ever arose. The Spencer-Taylor ad was the first. "Since wedding announcements are paid space…the newspaper management feels a responsibility to give all paying customers equal access to the service," the statement read. Even if it was just for 'money' at the end of the day. Minus 10 for the moaning residents of Utah ..... Get a life!!!!!
