Well almost

Woke up this morning, having a cuppa and a ciggie in the kitchen and could hear dripping, I kinda assumed it was outside as the window was open until it dripped on me.

Turns out the flat 2 floors up, someone had intentionally ripped out the hot water pipe flooding their place with scaulding water, it flooded my neighbours upstairs and made their ceiling collapse, who are a polish couple who speak very little english and were waiting til 9am to call their letting agency, withing 10 mins of a drip, water was pouring in, ive currently got about 20 buckets and a very holey ceiling from where ive cut in to it to stop the whole thing falling down.

The council emergancy plumber came within 5 mins of me calling and has cut off the water thank god, and the electrician has been round, so i have elcetric back again now, although no light in my kitchen until friday so it dries out and most of the stuff from my kitchen is in my lounge until I dry the kitchen out and it looks like a bomb has hit the place :o(
