Can we please have an option to report abuse straight from messages in our inboxes. like their is on the forums?

Given how trigger-happy people are with the 'report' button on the forums and the amount of time wasted by people reporting utter tosh, frankly, I'm a tad loathed to duplicate it on person-to-person messages, of which there are well over ten times as many sent each day.

I do agree that we need some way to flag and deal with spam messages and scam messages, though they're still pretty rare on OUT - a simple button to flag as spam/scam would probably suffice so that we could, almost automatically, analyse if someone was sending a lot of messages in a short space of time that are being reported for spam/scam. OUT could then suspend further identical/similar messages until we were able to investigate manually.

I'll note it on the infamous and huge to-do list.
