photoI hate these sections – but here goes! Tall, fit, reasonable looks (but will let you judge), solvent, own home and bicycle (!) single gay guy living in the UK's only island City. I try and get to the gym 4-5 times a week, enjoying life on life's terms and all the challenges that can bring on a daily basis. I don't bite (too often), so feel free to drop me a line.

A topic from OUT Website: Positive and Encouraging Stories

Hi! I just wanted to start a positive thread (for a change!) after a difficult period for me personally for various reasons. This follows on from previous threads I have started. One as a support topic, and other more open threads ….. quickfind:360333, quickfind:361473.

Having listened to many, read a great deal and done even more thinking, the cloud of gloom I had put myself under (relating to relationships, sex (or the lack of), and my HIV status), lifted earlier this week now that I understand what was going on inside my head – which can be a dangerous place for me to be at times!! lol

As the cloud of gloom lifted, I also felt it necessary to apologise to a few people as well for my part, to make amends in some small way too.

To that end, I would like to thank everyone who was kind enough to contribute to the threads or contacted me directly to offer words of support, encouragement and understanding.

I don't think there is any other web site where it's members would offer the same level of support, encouragement and understanding, and for that I am very grateful.

THANK YOU

Glad to hear you are on the up again mate. Does that mean I can go back to treating you like the rest of my friends? If so then.....

quoting > "I understand what was going on inside my head "

I always assumed the answer was "not a whole lot"!
