OK so help me with this one...

I want to start a thread (let's call it Thread X) which is a list of ALL the OUT threads which don't refer to their own quickfind numbers in the body of the posts to that thread

So, for instance, quickfind:324884 doesn't contain anywhere within its posts a reference to its own quickfind number. So I would list it in Thread X. In fact, the majority of OUT threads would be listed, because its quite unusual to refer to the quickfind of a thread within the thread itself

But, if this Thread X is a list of all the threads which don't contain their own quickfind numbers, do I put the quickfind number of Thread X on the list?

because if i don't list Thread X, my list is incomplete - it is no longer a list of ALL such threads, because it doesn't include Thread X itself

But if i DO list Thread X, then my list is wrong - because by putting the quickfind number of Thread X on the list, Thread X is no longer eligible to appear on the list, because now it DOES contain its own quickfind number

So in other words, Thread X is either incomplete (because it does not list itself) or wrong (because it does list itself when it shouldn't)

What should i do? Should I:

a: forget about it and log onto Gaydar

b: Accept that the whole logical basis of maths is fundamentally flawed

c: invent a new branch of Forum Theory to deal with the contradiction?

Surely this question has come up before?
