Until earlier this evening the BBC weather forecast suggested that it would rain on Thursday and Friday. Now the forecast has changed to cloudy on Thursday and sunny intervals on Friday. Tomorrow, which had been forecast to be drizzly and cold is now forecast to have sunny intervals and a temperature of 15 degrees, cooler than recently but still average or slightly above for the time of year. Over the past six weeks or so rain has been forecast occasionally but as the day of the forecast has approached it's been replaced by a forecast of drier weather. I can't remember the last time it rained heavily and the most there's been since the beginning of March has been about 2 hours' drizzle or very light rain. I cannot remember it being this dry for so long. |

T'other way round here: now "light rain" forecast for Friday, where it only used to say cloud. |
