According to my lovely electronic rain gauge we had 23 mm of rain here in about half an hour from two huge showers about 10 minutes apart. Amazing! |

Same in Manc - rain is so heavy the drains can't cope, but it's all gone in a hour or less. |

Yeah, showers tend to be short lived today - if it is windy they will go by quite quickly - the slower moving ones in areas where there is little or no wind are the ones that last about 20 mins or more. |
