Hello folks,

After "coppering-up" my spare change I discovered I had over £100 in shrapnel (how often does that happen?), which meant I could splash out - promptly went and bought myself a Nintendo DS and Final Fantasy III (I loved the FF games on the PS1/PS2). Am at work now, but am itching to get home and play on it!!

Anyway, in addition to FFIII, does anyone have any suggestions for must-have games? I've got a few holidays coming up, so the DS will be put through its paces when travelling & I could do with a few more than just the one!!

What are your fave must-have games?

hmmm my must haves (not inc FFIII as that would be no1) are

• Animal Crossing
• Elite Beat Agents
• Super Mario DS
• Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
• Trauma Centre

Castlevania - Portrait of Ruin

Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow

Final Fantasy Fables - Chocobo Tales

Hotel Dusk - Room 215

Kingdom Hearts - Chain Of Memory (only if you've played the first Kingdom Hearts on the PS2. Otherwise you get too many plot holes. A MUST if you want to play Kingdom Hearts2 though)

Mario Kart DS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (a must-have!)
Metroid Prime - Hunters

Resident Evil - Deadly Silence (remake of the original resident evil including B-movie-like intro-video)

Super Mario 64 DS (remake of the original N64. takes a bit of time to get used to the controls but it is as much fun on the DS as it was on the old fog machine)

Wario Ware Touched

if you're into FF you'll be pleased to hear that there are quite a lot of FF games coming out within the next year or so :)

Well im a Pokemon fan as the game play goes on forever so one of the new titles will keep you busy.
Like yourself I invested in FF which is great and also the Super Mario.
My Sims has a high rating of 94%, depends if you were a fan of it before I guess!
Mario Karts can be quite addictive too!
To be honest there is a wide choice so what ever takes your fancy really!
Happy game play!

OMG, that's LOADS of titles! Looks like I need to do some research on it!

I mainly go for RPG or platform games, although some of the others intrigue me. Good to hear more FF games are on their way, though, as I do like them (even though they steal hours/days of my life!).

• Mario Kart (my most played game)
• Super Mario DS
• Elite Beat Agents (so damn addictive)
• Mario vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis (think Lemmings but with Mario's)
• More Brain training
• Sim City DS

And remember if you like RGP type games that The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass, goes on sale in 21 days and there's never a bad Zelda game.
