Well the BBC have announced there will be a new look and line up for BBC3 which includes a rebranding and ditching of the Ardman created "Blobs" that have been the symbol for the channel since it launched. A sad day:( However Media Guardian goes on to say "A series of six final idents have been filmed featuring the blobs singing goodbye songs. These include one voiced by Little Britain's Matt Lucas as his character Dafydd from Little Britain, in which he says his "I'm the only gay in the village" catchphrase before bursting into I Will Survive. Other idents will see the blobs singing the Goodbye, Farewell song from The Sound of Music and James Blunt's Goodbye My Lover" |

Was anyone on here part of the research that lead to this decision? If so, did you say they were cold and shouty? |
