hey Guys

What do we think about the series so far I know there was a posting on Clapham Junction. What are your thoughts on last night programme? how gay sex changed the world?

There are another two programmes, one this evening which is a debate about being gay today and one tomrrow night about older gay guys and their views.

Thread is to stimulate debate boys and girls.

Well I have not seen the programmes as yet, but will look out for them.

Just to get the ball rolling:

In my personal view I think the "gay" lifestyle has changed completely over the last 40 years. We now have more rights than the people that came before us, as it is well known that it was illegal to be gay in this country (UK) at one point.

Today it is a hell of a lot easier to come out to society without any real problems of discrimination or bad feeling as our lifestyle has, for want of a better term, become more acceptable and we are now seen as normal human being who's partners just happen to be the same-sex and are not interested in just having sex for pro-creation purposes.

I have seen major changes over the 15 years that I was a Trade Union Official, but can see that we still have a very long way to go before we have full equality. This is partly due to the various belief systems trying to impose their way of living and various rules on they think we should live.
