Reincarnation: How would you like it?

For the moment, accept the premise that after death there is reincarnation.

There are many ideas about reincarnation, if it exists. Some believe that you could come back as anything from another human to a microbe and all species in between. Some believe that your current life dictates your next life, some that your next life is random and others that you can make some choices regarding your next life. None of the religions that believe in reincarnation, as far as I know, consider the possibility of being reincarnated onto another world as another species. However, perhaps one could come back as an alien.

The version of reincarnation that I like the sound of is that one relives one's current life with subtle differences, maybe one or two that aren't quite so subtle, that one selects during the course of one's current life. So, I'd choose to have normal hearing and to have trained as a pharmacist. There might be a few other little changes.

So, if reincarnation is real, what form would you like it to take and how would you like your next life to be. (If you're a believer in reincarnation, as per a religion, release yourself from the tenets of that religion for this and describe what you'd like, rather than what you believe, though if what you'd like is also what you believe, that's fine.)
