I remember as a wee nipper just newly started for British Rail spending many a fun hour at work looking up the miles between railway stations for a laugh. In these days of electronic timetables I thought all that fun was now over but today I found that Network Rail still publishes the information. |

I have (very) occasionally wondered whether you could still get the distances anywhere, as they always appeared in the old printed timetables. I feel better for knowing the information is still there... :-) |
