I have been provisionally offered a job in Turin, Northern Italy, but have never been and do not know the area. I need to decide if I want to attend the formal interview for the position. // |

I used to live there. It's a much under-appreciated city. Rather beautiful, much nicer than Milan, but has a central european feel rather than the mediterranean one of other italian cities. I suggest you go on a reccy. Ryanair do cheap flights from stansted. If you live there, it's only a couple of hours from the mountains for winter sports and the same from the sea in the summer. |
