I ticked other because there are resorts in USA not included such as Palm Springs, Fort Lauderdale, Key West, San Francisco, Provincetown, Fire Island, and others which I would love to go to, no chance this year unless my numbers come up!

I went out on Palmas Gay scene last year with a few mates, trust me, it is not a place to go!

The scene reminded me of the british scene from the olden days that I've heard so much about with blacked out windows and having to knock on doors to get in.

We used to go to Palma quite often - and certainly not for the gay scene! You're right, Tommo, it was like going back 25 years - and although I'm nostalgic for many things, I wouldn't include the gay scene of the '70s amongst that!

btw, I've assumed we're talking about Palma de Mallorca - according to Wikipedia, there's also:

Palma Campania, town in Campania, Italy
Palma di Montechiaro, town in Sicily, Italy

Santa Cruz de la Palma, the capital of the island of La Palma, Spain

I've also assumed that, my parents have a villa in Mallorca, but it's on the east coast, and I won't be returning to the gay scene of palma in a rush!

When we went to Palma, most of the gay bars were in a really seedy district known as El Terreno, which was a taxi ride (or long walk) from the nice bars and restaurants of the city centre.
