photoI love God with all my heart. That is what Sagittarius is about. That and travel. But church is not working for me. As christianity and astrology and reincarnation dont really go together. And then I became a Vegetarian who meditates! I would get burnt on the stake for what I believe and then churches ask me to leave... I have discovered some cool stuff relating to God - An ancient path. Would love to talk

Hey fellow outers!
I have never travelled on LH to South Africa before. I tried Air France, KLM, SAA, and the Swiss Airline and have been very happy. I always heard LH is good so Gary and I decided to do LH from London to Frankfurt and onwards to Johannesburg to test them. I felt the best I had was on the Swiss Airline.

We checked in early at Heathrow, and then discovered the flight was severely delayed an hour later. This had some serious implications on the connecting flight to JNB as we could miss it altogether. I also had a Vegetarian meal booked long in advance.

So at the boarding gate we were instructed that all connecting passengers had to be de-boarded, cancelled and sent to tha baggage hall to collect our bags and then sent to the Ticket Desk before the check-in desk to start the process all over again.

When they cancelled my flight my VGML also went out the window. While standing in the queue a lady from the desk got a brainwave, rebooked us onto the ollowing flight to Frankfurt, called to have our baggage retagged and sent us speeding through Heathrow Security AGAIN to get to the boarding gate.

We arrived in Frankfurt in good time. We lost our pre-booked seats but were able to reinstate them at the gate in Frankfurt. On board, I no longer had a VGML, so I was pretty much ignored and disregarded and told I had to book my meals in advance. I was rather upset since Gary showed me that he did on the printout of the booking. When Gary and I arrived in JNb we discovered that my bags were left behind in London, and Gary was lucky enough to get his.

So we had to come back to the airport the next day to get the baggage.

All in all it was a rather poor show for LH. No VGML, missing luggage, running up and down through Heathrow security like we are on a marathon. It was not fun. Thus far I got a little written apology from LH saying how happy they were that we chose LH to fly with...

Hmmm....

Will I rush to book on LH again?

I am not so sure.
