How do I get into working in theatre?

Looking to get some new friends in the Bedfordshire area, and down into London if possible. Preferably looking to meet people whose idea of a good night out would be a decent film, or theatre rather than endlessly pubbing.

I've always thought theatre really out of bounds to me as I've no real experience. But I love going to the theatre, love plays and shows and I enjoy talking to people who visit theatre regularly. I love the whole atmosphere of them. |
