Since I got my new laptop I can't print, it keeps asking me for the Aministrators Password (your not getting it, trust me).
Tech:
So your printer was working before you had your new laptop?
User:
Well no, it's been playing up for ages!
Tech:
How old is your pinter?
User:
About 4 years!
Tech:
Ok, I will authorise a new printer, let us have your laptop and we will install and set it up for you, then you can take it home.
User provides Tech with said laptop, Tech provides user with nice new printer correctly installed. Printer in box, nice printer!
Next Morning!
User Phones Tech:
My printer won't work.
Tech:
But we installed it yesterday and it worked fine, whats the problem?
User:
It won't print, it's just like before you looked at the laptop!
Tech:
I don't understand, it's a new printer, it worked fine when we tested it!
User:
The new printer, not taken that out of the box, want to use the old printer.
Tech:
But the old printer doesn't work, you told us!
User:
You mean even after you had my laptop the printer is still broken.
Tech:
Yes, thats why we gave you a new one!
User:
But I want to use my old one!
Tech:
It's broken, you will have to use the new one!
User:
If I can't use my old one I'm not bloody printing then!
This folkes is a true story, and he is a departmental manger.
