Exactly twenty-five years ago the world's first compact disc was produced at a Philips factory in Germany. Eeek! Has it really been that long? Can you remember the episode of Tomorrow's World where they smeared jam on a CD, sandpapered another, and then tried to play them? |

I was given my first CD as a Christmas present long before we had a CD player - it was Classic Rock: The Living Years, guess it would have been late 80s. Oh the shame of it... Not one that was missed when I had my CD collection nicked when at uni! |
