For a long time now, I've smugly considered my Virgin Cable provided V+ to be superior to Sky's Sky+ device - especially in the area of catch-up TV. Sky's paltry Anytime is hardly as good as Virgin's full access to all the catch-up output of all the channels. That said, I've just discovered that I can hit record on any Anytime offering and have it instantly transferred onto the disc in the box. That is quite cool. |
