100km swim by the Christmas Party

kenafridWed 21/11/07 17:39		Well, I made my target of swimming 44 miles for Aspire by 9 December (quickfind:329053) and there's still so much time left that I've decided to set another target to keep going. I'm currently at 79.5km or 3180 lengths since the challenge began and I want to get to 100km, or 4000 lengths by then. The challenge ends on 9 December, and funnily enough the OUT christmas party is on the 8th, so if you don't want me to harass you with a sponsor form on the night then please visit www.justgiving.com/kennethwhyte and leave me a donation. It'll be good practice for you when my next fundraiser takes place in April next year. I'll be posting updates and stuff in the next 2 weeks to let the lovely OUTers know how I'm getting on. kenafridFri 07/12/07 13:29		Well, I've done it. And then a bit more. Last night I got to 4224 lengths, which is 66 miles, 105.6km and the equivalent of 3 channel crossings. The challenge finishes on Sunday, so I'll probably do a bit more over the weekend. But today I'm resting. And eating lots as none of my swimming trunks seem to fit me any more and keep falling down.
