How come there's no thread about Hostel 2 yet?

I've just seen it, IMO thy could have done a bit more with it to change it from a good film to an excellent one.

Its good if you saw the first one, as you get to see a bit more of the 'other side' of the factory from the clients perspective.

It follows the same sort of storyline as the original, all good stuff. When it came to the torture scenes I was sat squirming in my chair thinking 'arrrgghh I don't want to see it all drawn out', and then a bit disappointed when actually I didn't. I'm ok with the actual gory details being off screen unless the effects are *stunning* but all the tension and build up to the actual death scenes which are over almost in the blink of an eye?

I'd have preferred those scenes longer and more drawn out/lingering, keeping me squirming wanting them to get it over and done with.

Nice twist at the end, but again that scene where the bargaining goes on could have been more intense. I'd have preferred the guy to be completely turned around and see his terror at being party to his own auction... and his torture not to be over in the blink of an eye. It could have been prolonged and supervised to make certain that she was genuine about what was going on.

Oh, and the lift scene...surely that could have been more graphic and prolonged

Were there chunks cut out of this? If so a full version would get a full 10/10 from me.

What was there was good, worth seeing, the only downside for me was thinking that theres bits missing.
