I was just listening to a CD by Louise L Hay and she was talking about gratitude and how it's so easy to take everything for granted and it got me thinking!

Louise was saying that what we think about and give our attention to is what we attract into our lives (Law of Attraction) so we could choose positive and uplifting thoughts to attract more of these circumstances and events etc.

So, ignore the traffic, the cold/hot/rainy weather, the price of coffee, the bad news in your local paper (there's good in there somewhere as well though!!) and all the doom and gloom it's easy to access without really trying and the topic of this posting is...

Name three things you're grateful for.

Three things that make a difference n your life.

Three things that make life easier/better/faster.

The idea might seem corny and a bit newagey but give it a go and see the difference in how you feel about some simple things in life you may just take for granted! :-)

Just 3 things (or more!) that you are grateful for...I'll go first! :-)

(1) My washing machine.

It's 8 years old, is well out of guarantee but works each and very time. Without it I'd have to walk 3 miles to the nearest Launderette and wait for 2 hours in a dull, dismal shop with flickering fluorescent lights and a filthy floor. I am greateful for my washing machine.

(2) My PC

I'm grateful for my PC, oftemit's a lifeline for me, a connection the outside World. I can share thoughts and feelings across thousands of miles at the touch of a button or the click of a mouse. I can learn new facts and double-check old ones, be entertained, and meet great people who also are grateful for things in their life they may or may not take for granted.

(3) My Pets!

2 wonderful dogs aged 4 and 6 and an 11 year old cat! They share my life, my ups and downs, my triumphs, achievements, gains and home!

They show love in abundance without asking for anything in return - although they are spoilit rotten and deserve to be.

Three things which make my life the better for having:-)
