Busy lives; do we listen to each other anymore?

I'm James. Getting on with life from day to day. Me and my dog Jerry love to walk in the park. If you, like us could settle for the stars (the moon being too awesome in the scheme of things), then it must be right.

You have to make time, and ensure you have time together, as families, friends, partners, etc. We don't need to spend the time doing something, it is good to sit down over a coffee/tea/meal and ask each other how we are feeling and actually listen to what people are saying. Our lives are so full of noise than we have forgotten what silence sounds like or frightened of it. But we need those times of silence to not only listen to others but to listen to ourselves. When we ask how somebody is, listen to their response. Too often we want a 'fine' comment, and don't want to hear a 'Actually I am feeling crap because.............'. So we need to learn not only to listen to everything around us and ourselves, but we need to learn how to care and respond when we do listen.
