I don't know what's going on exactly. I telephoned the local police station to find out when I'll be able to put my car in my garage. They said that the area would be closed off for some time. They also said that a "suspect object" had been found. I wonder what this means. Are the Khazakstanis who live down the road members of Al Qaeda? (They look completely inoffensive and innocent.) Or is it just someone's stash of dope? Why do the police cordon off such large areas during an investigation?

Maybe they found your porn collection or collection of toys?

I think there would be more police around. When I lived in Woking there was a murder in the next street. Every third person seemed to be a policeman or woman.
