I'd like some suggestions for a reasonably good restaurant, about £25 per head + wine, in Woking or Chertsey. It needs to be open on a Sunday evening and have good disabled access. Preferred cuisine would be Continental, Spanish, German or Hungarian but open to other ideas. |

There's the Inn at West End which is the Surrey Dining Pub of the Year, and is very friendly. |

Thanks for the suggestions but I'm looking for places in Woking or Chertsey so that the taxi doesn't cost too much. |

I always love Peters Place a nice Chinese, eat all you like and pretty good food at that :D it's all on the ground floor so should be good for disabled access, they also have opened a second should were you can order from a menu and that too is good :D |

They've just opened an Olivo in Woking. I haven't tried it, but the one in Guildford was fantastic. |

Chinese is something I'd consider but Indian food is not one of my favourites. However, I really was thinking that I'd like European cuisine other than Italian. What about Greek? Are there any Greek restaurants? |

Not that many greek places around I think. Woking's mainly a curry orientated place! |

Any opinions about The Star in Hook Heath? I found it during an Internet search and the menu seems quite nice and the prices are in the right range. |

Just phoned them and they no longer have a restaurant and don't do Sunday evening food. Are there any quality Continental restaurants in the Woking area at all? |

I know the Chobham restaurants. I've not been to The Cloche Hat but I think it's really quite expensive. I don't agree with your opinion of the Four Seasons. The food tastes too pre-prepared for me (and that's being polite). However, having looked at quickfind:vice's suggestion, I think that maybe the one to go for. The taxi fare may be £15 each way but I think it's worth it for an evening out. |

Me and the bloke went to the Inn at West End for the first time on Friday. Absolutely superb. Would recommend it time and time again. |
