I'm told i have mad scientist hair and I like dancing, climbing mountains, going to gigs and sitting in bars talking to my friends. I think physics is cool but apart from that i'm not that weird. I've recently moved to Vauxhall and am enjoying the London lifestyle

I was out shopping today at the House of Fraser in Guildford. There is a big atrium in the middle with escalators which go up about 6 floors.

i was down at the bottom of the atrium looking at shirts when suddenly something fell from way above, presumably from the roof 6 stories up. I'm not sure what it was, but it landed about 30 foot away from me with the most almighty bang, which made me jump about 6 feet, though luckily I was waring brown trousers

Thank god no-one was standing underneath it, though there were people probably 10 foot away, but no-one got hurt. i'm still not sure what it was, but it left a load of broken glass and other stuff scattered all across the floor - think it might have ben a big heavy window frame or something. There were lot of worried staff running around

if i'd been standing underneath i think i'd literally have been cut in two. it does make you think about fate & mortality & stuff when something like that happens
