I was in the supermarket yesterday (Waitrose, because I am posh), wandering about with the familiar but vaguely disquieting sense that I was forgetting something. I made a circuit of the butter, cheese and yoghurt fridge island THREE times before I remembered what it was I wanted. Oddly, I was being followed by a man who also looked rather puzzled, and appeared to be doing the same thing. Unless he fancied me. Don't laugh. There should be some sort of emotional support available to the poor lost souls who get disoriented around the dairy section. It's cold there, too. |
