Did anyone else go and see Beverley Knight play the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday?

She was absolutely fantastic and gave an electrifying performance. The crowd absolutely loved her and the atmosphere in the concert hall was brilliant.

She sang loads of stuff from her new album and lots of her other songs from her past albums too. Her voice is absolutely amazing live and I have to say she almost had me in tears a couple of times with it (her versions of Sista Sista and Gold were beautiful and flawless).

She puts so much passion and energy into her live performances too and she is so appreciative of her fans. She spoke about how she was so humbled and overwhelmed to be playing the Albert Hall, saying that she never thought they'd be able to do it and just kept thanking the audience from the bottom of her heart for their support. She certainly had the venue packed out.

She looked great too in a fabulous red and white Kaftan style mini-dress and killer heels and long hair extensions.

This is the fourth time I have seen her live and I just didn't want the show to end.

I still can't understand why she is still so underrated, as she is clearly one of the best Britsh female singers of our times and she absolutely rocks live...

I agree - she is very underrated. Definitely one of the best British soul voices around. However, I sometimes wish she had stronger material.

She was excellent doing the 'warm-up' act for Prince, always a tough one as the audience has only come form the main attraction.

She got rave reviews when she supported Take That on tour last year too.
