Hi there! Hate these things, but here goes....... My name is Neil. I live in the town of Hull with my partner (Graham) of 7 years.. Is it that long..!? Just before Christmas, I decided to upgrade my Sky package to include the movie channels. Nothing wrong with that.....

But now that i am back at work, most of the films that i want to see are on in the afternoon. So having set my video recorder to record a film that i wanted to see the other day, you can imagine my surprise when i re-wound the tape, pressed play, and was greeted with a blue screen with a message at the bottom asking me to use my PIN number to access the film.

I tried again yesterday to record something in the vain hope that i had just had a `Blonde Moment`, and had set the video wrong.

Nope, not to be. The same message appeared again.

I contacted Sky who told me that due to certain film classifications, certain films would require a PIN number during the daytime. I told the lady that i wanted the PIN system removed from my account because there are only adults in my house. She told me that it was `built into the system`, and it couldn`t be removed. She also told me that OFCOM had placed restrictions on Sky about a year ago, and there was nothing Sky could do about it.

I was waiting for a catch, and i wasn`t disappointed....

She told me that if i upgraded my Digibox to SKY+, then i could receive the films without having to use a PIN number.

Do i detect another money making scam from Sky....

Has anyone else had this problem.........
