Picked this up in an article in G3 Mag in my local last night. This is from the article:

It appears there is some deepseated homophobic bigotry amongst Conservative party members if a recent report from LGBT Labour is to be believed. New infighting amongst the Tories recently spurred Michael Ancram MP to voice his opinion on civil partnerships, which he described as "diminishing the value of marriage". Conservative deputy leader Michael Ancram made his comments in the Daily Telegraphy, urging a more right-wing agenda for the Conservatives. Alon Or_bach co-chair of LGBT Labour said:"Despite the gloss David Cameron has tried to put on his party, the core of the Tories remains the same-deeply hostile to LGBT."

If this is true, seems they aint changed! How do they live with those members who are Gay is beyond me lol!

Ian, Ancram made those remarks publicly and they were widely reported in the media and discussed on these boards some time back.

I just read it last night in the current issue of G3! Anyway if its true dunno how Gay people can vote for them!
