photoHey there, I'm John, wannabe chilled out type, try not to take life too seriously, love being single but always up to try something new! Die hard Madonna and Fleetwood Mac fan, love left wing libertarian politics (Better a bleeding heart than no heart at all), current affairs, pubbing, clubbing, travel, talking, tennis and very tall men! Can talk endlessly about nothing and believe everyone has something to say.

Wow - this could be almost out of the Karl Rove/Dick Cheney election handbook. A last desperate attempt by an ailing government?

Finally it looks like we could be getting rid of one of the most horribly homophobic Western governments. Of course the words chickens, counting and hatched spring to mind but it the best chance the Australian Labor Party have had for a long time.

Of course the actions were condemned by Liberal HQ but it is a brilliant example of what they will stoop to (remember the "babies overboard" in 2001?) The best news is that with electoral boundary changes Howard's own seat has become a marginal! If there is a Labor government then it looks like Howard will lose his seat.

Praying to the big pink pixie in the sky for change on Saturday.

Actually Howard has beena very successful PM, a sort of John Major figure who reassures the nation.

His length of tenure in office is also quite a record. To many Aussies he seems to sum up an understated 'normal bloke' criteria.

When viewed through thier eyes, you see how he has managed to hold on to office.

These Bunny ad campaigns made me laugh:

I love the screaming bunny at the end.

This one is also very funny:
