photoWell I thought I would give Out another look after being absent for ages! Does the 'scene' remember people after so long? I Decided I've been single for far too long and would like to start meeting people again with a view to finding a special someone to share my life with if I am lucky:)

Anyone walked the South West Coast Way before? I am going down to Cornwall to continue my way around it in August. I finished up last year at Lands End and will walk about 100 miles this time I hope. I plan to do it differently this time. Camp at a campsite and drive and public transport to the beginning and end of each days walk.. about 10-15miles. That way I won't have to carry all my belongings on my back as I have in previous years!

No, not yet, but it's next on my list. ;) I might ask you about it sometime if that's ok.

My dad is on the last leg of the Coastal path next week, heading from Exmouth to Poole.

He has loved doing it over the past couple of years bit by bit. Never knew he had it in him!!

Longest I've done in one go, so to speak is Offa's Dyke. Did Hadrian's Wall earlier this year. Also Ridgeway, South and North Downs, Thames Path, loads of canal towpaths and The Macmillan Way.

Would like to do Lands End to John o'Groats before my legs give out!

I'll have a look at your site, thanks.

Good for him:) I don't think I would want to do the 640 odd miles of it all in one go.. I use the walk very much as my holiday on my own each year by the sea, but if you did it all in one go it would be 6-8 weeks of walking with the sea on your right... If you do it like I am the sea views are a treat in the walking year's programme:)

I'm looking forward to this years hols feeling a bit more like a stroll if the 'not carrying everything on my back' plan works out ok?:)
