photoI'm a geek. I'm a nerd. I'm a trainee teacher of small children. I'm shy. I'm crude. I like chocolate. I like rain. I'm hopeless at reading people. I find myself having the strangest conversations. I live in the middle of bloody nowhere. I don't smoke. I sometimes drink. I split infinitives. And I've currently got a number of Broadway musical CDs copied onto my MP3 player.

Imagine, if you will, a completely hypothetical situation...

It's late January and, feeling the need to treat yourself, you visit an online retailer and order an 80GB iPod.

After two weeks, the iPod hasn't arrived and you're distraught. You contact the retailer and they tell you that it's been lost in the post.

They refund your money and off you go on your merry way.

The next day, you visit another online retailer. You order the same item and, to your delight, it arrives 24 hours later.

You name it Guiseppe and enjoy many blissful hours of commuting with your new iPod.

Fast forward to today. You arrive home from a stressful day at uni and, behold, a package has arrived from the first retailer. It contains the original 80GB iPod.

The parcel didn't have to be signed for. There is no official record that it is in your possession.

What do you do?

Hypothetically speaking, of course...

I would keep it. Or give it to someone who you know and is a friend and would realy appreciate said hypothetical iPod.

Its an error in your favour, they don't happen very often, so take advantage of your good luck
