I was listening to the radio in my brother's car over the weekend and a track came on that I liked. However, I commented that although the melody sounded somewhat teen-summery that the backing vocal sounded quite eerie and conjured a picture of walking into a now-derelict music hall and meeting with an apparition of some 50s Buddy Holly-type band playing at a school disco. Almost like a scene from a horror film where the protagonist sees the scene of a mass-murder that took place during a school prom years ago. |
