Who else went to Love box over the weekend?

Wow.

I wasn't too impressed with Mark Ronson but apart from that I was blown away. The appearance of Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes and John Taylor to turn Mark Ronson's band into Duran Duran for Planet Earth made up for all Ronson's dross.

Roxy Music were out of this world. As a little bonus me and my friends (who were gushing about Roxy Music and represented a more "mature" demographic - notwithstanding one of my friends who came up on a really strong pill, then nearly feinted when Brian Ferry came onstage) started chatting to this lovely young woman who turned out to be Phil Manzanera's daughter.

Yesterday - Peaches. Brilliant! The band is really bloody good and amazingly sexy. It's not often you get to see a really down'n'dirty group that has all it's sexuality emanating from the dynamic between the women. And Peaches had a broken leg and the shenanigans they got up to just to keep her singing/playing guitar was hilarious. The tall, thin pretty naked guy with Anna Nicole Smith breasts was most memorable. Danny Daniels was his name? He pushed Peaches' wheelchair! And it looked like Leigh Bowery made a posthumous appearance at the end.

And - ladies and gentlemen - my reward for staying stone cold sober for the whole weekend was that I managed to fight my way to the front of the stage and held Grace Jones's hand as she skipped past.

I screamed and screamed!!!!

The woman finished the weekend with Slave To The Rhythm while spinning a hula hoop. Just wow. Wow.
