I've been going to the gym for a while and i've been curious about taking a protein supplement as I am a strict vegetarian. |

IMO you're usually better off just watching what you eat, and choosing foods that are high in protein. The trick is to to make sure you have a good balance of amino acids and vitamins and, unless you're working out or have just done so, avoid combining both fat and carbohydrates in a single meal - otherwise the insulin boost you get from eating carbs will send any fat you eat straight to your fat cells. |
