photoLife should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - martini in one hand - burger in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "Whooooooo what a ride!"

Now, I'm not one of those people who upgrades to a new phone every 6 months. I'm happy to pick a phone and stick with it until it dies.
I've had the same number of over 10 years and in that time I've had 3 phones.

My current phone, a Motorola V3, has done well for the past couple of years or so. The case is scratched and a bit battered, and the other week the glass-like cover got cracked (very impressive it looks too). The phone is reaching that "well used" look, where it's just settling in.
Sadly, though, electronically it is also dying - it can take over 10 minutes to reach the "Please enter PIN" stage at switch-on now. Poor thing.

So, today I received my replacement (it's a work phone, so they pay for the replacement too).

A nice shiney Nokia E65.

It is currently charging up as I write, so I've not had a chance to play with it yet, but it looks rather good :)
Can't wait to get it home, sync it up with my Mac and transfer all the contacts (with photos) and calendars across and then start playing with it!
(Even though it does have a 100+ page instruction manual. 100 pages for a phone?!?!).

So, have I done well and got a cracking new phone, or will I be posting here before the week is up cursing it and all those who designed it?

And what should I do with my old phone, bearing in mind it is cosmetically knackered as well as electronically almost dead?
