I wonder if anyone here can give me any advice before I just give up and take it in to be repaired (under guarantee). I have an HTC Desire S, which has been fine since I got it a few months ago. This morning it was downloading an update to a trivial app and then locked up. I took the battery out to get it to reload, but now it won't work when connected to a network (3G or Wireless). If you get in quick and set it to Airplane mode it works fine in standalone mode, but the moment you try to connect it to a network again it freezes up within about a minute. The SIM card works fine in another mobile. Any ideas?
