I was out to lunch with mum and dad the other day. There were a very elderly well-to-do couple at the next table. The husband turned to move away from the bar and trod on the foot of this young guy walking past. He apologised, and his wife obviously heard him. She asked him what he'd done and he said he'd trod heavily on the other guy's foot. "Oh dear, never mind... he's got another one" she replied, at which I nearly burst out laughing. |
