photoA man of opposites; laid back, sociable when you get to know me, charming, but a little quiet and maybe mysterious at first. Different? Maybe - but it's all part of the charm :0) I will talk to anyone about anything - meaning of life and universe down to trivia. I'm settled in Guildford and love being close to London.

I always see he August Bank Holiday as a kind of milestone in the year, the end of the summer and the start of a new and different period. its a time for reflecting on the year so far, whether i've met my plans for the year (which i set last December) and what i'm going to do for the rest of the year

does anyone else do this? what are your plans for the rest of the year, and are you satisfied with how the year has gone so far? has it been a good year so far, and how do you think it will end?

satisfied with how the year has gone so far?

well yes, its been ok, i survived it and it has happened - which is what i expected

as for the rest of the year?

yep, make sure that they have plenty of warning, so that the men can make adequate preparations

if only that were true

well, its been pretty good. Work has been very intense, and sometimes it seems like its taking over my life. but when i have had a social life, its revolved much more around London than it has previously

for the rest of the year, i'd like to think that i could spend less time in work, but its not going to happen, because we have a very important test coming up in November. But if i can find the time, i want to fit in a few some more city breaks (I fancy Budapest), and also a week walking in the Highlands

and also, and more important, i'd love to spend some more timing getting to bettrer know some of the lovely OUT people i've met this year

well lots hope that the work thing goes well

and that the getting to know the lovely OUT people works even better!

i agreee as i see it in a way of the start of the end of summer and therefore i think about the autumn wardrobe once again and think about the nights getting darker again...

so let's enjoy our august bank holiday and keep things real

I like autumn though. those crisp, clear, cold nights, the dew on the trees, the early morning mists, the leaves turning yellow, the smelll of wood fires in the air
