For me I feel trapped by work. I don't want to be working in an office doing a mundane job.

I want to be out in the world helping people and ensuring that they have a better life.

I guess that's why I've finally settled on trying to train to become a counsellor.

Likewise. But I'm very lucky to be getting made redundant next week so i have a chance to change things.

I feel trapped in a situation, mainly work related really but doing my best to change that.

I'm getting the itch to sell up and go again.

well done danny on making decision to change and good luck with it.

For me, I an content but at the same time feel trapped, have never felt i lived up to my full potential, but thats my own fault, got stuck in the security of property mortgage and was too reluctant to give it up to go for my goals, dont really regret it.

I think all in all am happy with my lot, but that does not stop me having desires.

Yup thats my biggest thing. I want a job that will actually help people, but using the skills and what not I have.

At the minute I sit and design chips, that get sold in Japan and no-where else it seems. They do nothing for this country, and that annoys me (but I don't know why!!)

Yes good luck - I did the first stage of counselling training at evening class but I may go on with it now. I found it really fascinating.
