So there I was, having taken lots of photos of the advertising parade that precedes the Prologue (why does that make me think of Frankie Howerd) to the Tour de France, and having had a sandwich and a pint in a pub on Whitehall, when, on my way into the loo, I find four big burly motorcycle cops in leather trousers, one of whom holds the door open so I can follow him and his mates in. |
