photoEx married man with 3 grown up sons. Came out to family early 2003 and went through what can only be described as "interesting times"! Within weeks had fallen madly in love with an old university friend based in Edinburgh. After 18 months he finally got a job in Cambridge and we set up home together in January 2005, becoming Civil Partners May 2008. Happy to chat to anyone in similar circumstances.

Belatedly I discovered Amazon wishlist just in time this Christmas and as a consequence I have acquired 3 books from my list: -

The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet by David Mitchell

Started Early Took My Dog by Kate Atkinson

and

Parrot & Olivier in America

as an unexpected bonus I also received Delete This at your Peril by Neil Forsyth

I need something engaging, witty and sometimes escapist at the end of the day and am really looking forward to reading these in the weeks ahead.

For my fellow book lovers on Out - has Santa brought you some delights to anticipate?
