Where are you travelling from and where is your eventual destination?

You can get a 'Gold Card' either to 'London Teminals' or to London Zones 1-6.

Terminals is cheaper because it doesn't include travel within London, but the Zones 1-6 (or I expect 1-whereyouwork) will give you travel on buses / tubes.

Getting an annual season ticket also means you get half a dozen free trips a year to somewhere, and that anyone who travels with you off peak goes for a third off.

Some employers will give you a season ticket loan, which you pay back monthly out of your wages interest free.
