I thought it might be a good idea (and a couple of other people have mentioned it) to have a Sunday lunch event after the Christmas Party (on Dec 9th).

the idea woudl be to meet up on Sunday somewhere in central London to have some food, chill out and gossip about the goings-on from the night before

so if people are interested i'll set something up. I was thinking of Covent Garden or Soho area - a bit predictable, but it is pretty central and convenient

I did wonder about Porters restaurant in Covent Garden, but there are loads of possibilities. but it needs to be somewhere relatively cheap, and big enough to take a few of us (but how many i have no idea yet)

So if you are interested in coming, please tick this message. and if you have suggestions for venues, please post them below

thanks

I'm thinking of the Palm Court Brasserie just off Covent Garden, as its quite big, it can usually find space for people, and the food's OK

any thoughts?

It looks like someone has already organised a Sunday lunch do at Zeitgeist on the Sunday. I'd insert the link to it but I'm not that clever - it's listed under events for 9th December.

Is this related to what you're talking about phil?

that'll be quickfind:332468.

no, that's not related to what i was planning. i had a look through the events for the 9th yesterday and didn't see that one, so maybe it was added today. i don't think that one is specifically related to the Christmas Party

i don't want to end up competing with someone else's event, but that one is in Vauxhaull, whcih is a little out of the centre for some people. i'll have a think about whether its worth me doing another more central one

what do people think?
