Having a much-overdue clear out at home, and I've found a very old-looking lapel badge, brass with red enamelling, depicting a heraldic lion standing, surrounded by what seems to be a laurel wreath. There is a motto apparently in Welsh underneath - "Deuparth bonedd dysg". |

My Welsh is very rusty but Bonedd also means or stands for a coat/crest of arms (double checked with Google). |
