One way and another I have filled my rather enormous fridge. The problem is that I roasted a chicken this evening and now I need to find some space for the cooked 75% of it that I didn't eat. I've also made a rhubarb fool. There's lots of other food in the fridge because I've just got my pension and I've stocked up. It's a bit of a problem when one's income is so low that when one has money one goes on a food shopping splurge. I simply fear that if I don't buy food I'll spend my money on something else (that I need) and not have enough for food. Everything else, except rent, is less important than food. |
