Last year was something of a roller coaster for me, and I'm still unsure as to exactly where I am going in life. However the one thing I am sure about is my need to ‘get a life' and enjoy it in the company of others. Hopefully I'm not yet 'over the hill' - still a few more adventures to be had! I'm looking for friends, lovers, holiday companions, or even a partner.

I opted out of paid employment in 2009 to care for my sick mother. My mother died earlier this year. I am now very eager to work again, and get some focus in my life. However I do not want to return to the 'rat race'. Ideally I would like to work as a volunteer for a charity, maybe in an administration/support role. But unfortunately I am not in a position to work completely for nothing - I do need to supplement my modest income if I am to enjoy an equally modest lifestyle. Any suggestions as to where I can find some kind of meaningful work that offers me some remuneration? |
